This year the theme of the commemorative program is “Celebrating Rescuers Then and Now.” Speakers will honor those who worked to make the Kindertransports possible, Holocaust Rescuer Varian Fry, rescue during the Armenian Genocide, and volunteers who work today in refugee camps in Turkey and Greece.
