Richard Wiener lived under the Nazi regime from 1933 to 1939 as the only Jewish student in a school of Hitler Youth. After the fall of the Berlin wall, Wiener returned to his hometown of Wittenberg for a class reunion. During that trip he initiated a healing experience with his former classmates. Upon returning to America, he created this workshop in order to show that it is possible to revisit and forgive the most painful of circumstances.
