Letters from Brno, a film produced by KTA Board member Karen Kruger, will air on Public Television’s digital WORLD Channel May 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 18, 20, 27 and 28 to celebrate Jewish American Heritage Month.
Letters from Brno tells the powerful story of parental love and sacrifice during the Holocaust. In an expansive 45 year search for clues to her mother’s hidden past, a daughter uncovers her mother’s Kindertransport history and the tragic fate of her grandparents through their letters written during the brutal Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia.
