April 7, 2024
11:30 am EDT - 3:30 pm EDT

Event Type

The KTA is planning a visit to the Nassau County Holocaust Museum and Tolerance Center (HMTC) in Glen Cove, Long Island, N.Y.  There we will view a special Kindertransport Exhibit including the Kindertransport Journey, Memory into History Panels and Kinder artifacts curated by KTA Executive Director Melissa Hacker with the assistance of KT2 Renée Kornfeld and the generous loans of personal family items from KTA members.

In this year, on the 85th Anniversary of the Kindertransports, we believe a visit to the museum and this exhibit will be an opportunity to share a meaningful experience with Kinder, KT2s and KT3s.

Light lunch will be served.

Cost: $20 plus museum admission; free for survivors, $5 for seniors (65+), and $10 for others.
