KT2s Linda Waldroup and Susan Kohn invite Kinder and the next generations: children of Kinder (KT2s), grandchildren of Kinder (KT3s), family and friends to join in our KTA All-Generations Gathering on Zoom. This will be an opportunity to talk about matters on your mind, share what you have been doing, and discuss contemporary issues. This will also be a chance to meet new and longstanding KTA members.
Today’s topic: What is our relationship to the language and country of origin of our parents or grandparents? Kinder, how do you feel about your homeland today? How do we feel about learning the language, not knowing the language, visiting the country, not visiting the country? Did our parents or grandparents speak their native language, with the family, with friends, with us, did they encourage us to learn, or prohibit us?
