Kindertransport – The Search for British Foster Families
Just before the Second World War, British families from all over the country took in over 9,000 Jewish children into their homes, hostels, farms and schools. Little is known about the families and individuals who opened their doors to Kinder. A new project has been launched to find the details about these unsung heroes before time runs out. Together with a prominent Holocaust museum in the United States, Mike Levy, author and researcher is tracking down these families to record their testimonies. Join AJR CEO Michael Newman and Mike Levy in conversation with Kinder, including the KTA’s own Lore Segal, and British Foster Families.
