The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum will host a holiday program for families and children on Dec. 22 and 29 at 1 p.m. The event will feature a tour of the Kindertransport exhibition followed by a reading of “A Bear Called Paddington.”
This program is designed for children in fourth grade and above, along with families with younger children. Mary Pat Higgins, the CEO and President of the museum, will be available for interviews on Dec. 22.
Following the tour of the Kindertransport exhibition, attendees will enjoy a reading of “A Bear Called Paddington” by Michael Bond. This beloved story features a bear who arrives in a new country with only a suitcase, symbolizing the experiences of Kindertransport refugees who needed care and safety when arriving in Britain.
