Kindertransport – Rescuing Children on the Brink of War, with Lucy Lang and Josef Eisinger

An exhibition and public program jointly organized by the Yeshiva University Museum and the Leo Baeck Institute – New York | Berlin, commemorating the Kindertransport rescue effort that saved nearly 10,000 Jewish children from Nazi‑occupied Europe between 1938 and 1939. The opening event on November 26, 2018 featured survivor testimonies, historical artifacts, and reflections on parental courage and humanitarian action in the face of persecution. Kindertransport survivors Lucy Lang and Josef Eisinger spoke at the opening.
