DESCRIPTION:The American Library Association (ALA) is pleased to announce f
 ifteen libraries selected to host the traveling exhibition World on the Mo
 ve: 250\,000 Years of Human Migration\, developed by the American Anthropo
 logical Association and the Smithsonian’s Center for Folklife and Cultur
 al Heritage.\n\nThe 15 public libraries will host the exhibit for a five-o
 r six-week period from March 2023 through August 2025.\n\nWorld on the Mov
 e aims to help people appreciate migration histories — their own and tho
 se of others — by drawing on a wealth of case studies from across human 
 history and the breadth of cultures.\n\nThe libraries\, selected through a
  competitive application process\, will work with community partners to pr
 esent programs and events to accompany the exhibition. Fourteen states are
  represented. View the list of selected sites.\n\nThe Kindertransport is i
 ncluded through the story of KIndertransportee (and longtime KTA member) J
 oel Darmstadter.  His story\, told in pictures\,  shows his and his fami
 ly’s in Germany and life after he escaped to freedom on a Kindertranspor
