DESCRIPTION:On December 2nd\, 1938\, the first Kindertransport from Germany
  arrived safely in Harwich\, England.\n\n\n\n\nIn 2012\, KT2 David Meyerho
 ff coined the term “World Kindertransport Day” to commemorate the day 
 the first Kindertransport from Germany arrived safely in the UK. Since the
 n\, KTA chapters have held annual gatherings\, either on December 2nd\, or
  on the closest Sunday afternoon. This year we will gather online\, as wel
 l as in person.\n\n\n\n\nThe event is open to KTA members only.
