DESCRIPTION:KT2 Miriam Lewin will present her short documentary Commandmen
 t 613\, about a scribe who restores Torah scrolls saved in Czechoslovakia 
 during the Shoah. These Torahs are now loaned by the Memorials Scrolls Tru
 st in London to synagogues and communities all over the world.\n\nWe’ll 
 watch the 23-minute film together\, and then have a Q&amp\;A with Miriam a
 nd the scribe featured in the film\, Rabbi Kevin Hale. As part of the conv
 ersation\, Rabbi Hale will connect our topic to the upcoming holiday of Sh
 avuot\, which celebrates the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai\, and Miri
 am will talk about the Czech scrolls as “Decentralized Memorials.” Sto
