 cases the astonishing rescue effort that\, in nine months\, brought thousa
 nds of unaccompanied children from Nazi-occupied Europe to the United King
 dom. Through personal artifacts\, stories\, and firsthand testimony\, thos
 e who lived through the "Kindertransport\," German for "children's transpo
 rt\," tell its history.\n\nThe exhibition offers a moving look at the resc
 ue effort\, the painful choices parents made to send their children to saf
 ety\, and the lives their children began in the United Kingdom. This exhib
 ition serves as a powerful testament to the resilience of the human spirit
  and the importance of honoring the legacy of those who endured unimaginab
