THE STORY OF THE SQUARE
Artist: Shun L. Chen I chose the colour colour purple for a square. It symbolizes courage, which I believe the people showed who saved the 10,000 children from almost certain death in the Holocaust. My square says: “In appreciation of the Honorary Lilian Bowes–Lyon and the Honorary Nicky Winton who through their compassion and generosity saved the life of my dear father-in-law Hanus J. Grosz.”
